| Abstract:A lot of intermediate acid intrusions are distributed along the tectonic-magmatic-polymetallic metallogenic belt in the Taihang Shan
Mountains of the NEE direction. The Mapeng complex granite in the southern Fuping in the northern Taihang Mountains receives much attention because
of its close relationship with ore-forming elements of the Shihu gold deposit. This paper reports the data of the SHRIMP U-Pb age (125. 0依3. 4 Ma) in
the transitional zone of the northern Mapeng granite complex. This is the youngest among the data of the known Mesozoic intrusions in the northern Taihang
Shan Mountains. Meanwhile,this result shows that until 125 Ma the magmatic activity of the northern Taihang Shan Mountain was still ongoing,and it also
defines the time span of activity of the NW fault-system in this area |
