| This paper mainly discusses geological features of Shandong Guocheng gold deposit. It is proposed that the gold mineralization was controlled by the combination of contact structure and interlayer sliding structure. The Guocheng gold deposit is one of interlayer sliding fault zone controlled gold deposits along margins of the Mesozoic Laiyang sedimentary basin. It shows that X-ray fluorescence analytical technique and gamma-ray spectrometry are effective and economical tools in the geological prospecting and exploration. |
