中文摘要:长期以来,对西北非毛塞几比盆地白垩系主力烃源岩层系的认识不清,本次研究旨在明确毛塞几比盆地白垩系阿尔布阶-土伦阶主力烃源岩并建立成藏模式,为盆地油气勘探提供科学依据。利用岩石热解、气相色谱-质谱/同位素比值质谱联用等方法,对该盆地塞内加尔近海陆架边缘Z-1井和X-1井不同深度的白垩系阿尔布阶、塞诺曼阶、土伦阶原油和烃源岩样品,进行系统的有机地球化学特征研究及化学计量学分析。烃源岩精细评价结果表明,斜坡带土伦阶烃源岩品质以极好为主,塞诺曼阶与阿尔布阶烃源岩品质好-极好,其泥岩、砂质泥岩、石灰岩都是品质好烃源岩;缓坡带阿尔布阶烃源岩品质差异较大,在中-极好之间。依据主成分分析与聚类分析结果,共划分出6个族群IA-C及IIA-C,并根据油-源以及油-油对比结果,建立了2类油气成藏模式。其中,Z-1井原油和烃源岩有机地球化学特征油-源对比结果显示,该井为台地边缘外凹陷“自生自储”油气成藏模式;油-油对比结果与交替最小二乘法逆卷积计算结果表明,X-1井为台地边缘内凹陷“自生自储”油气成藏模式。本文创新运用交替最小二乘法逆卷积算法,首次量化了盆地内阿尔布阶、塞诺曼阶、土伦阶烃源岩对储层油气的贡献,明确了盆地主力烃源岩及油气成藏模式。 |

Oil-source rock correlation of the Cretaceous Albian-Turonian in the offshore MSGBC Basin, NW Africa |

Abstract:There has been unclear understanding about the major Cretaceous source rocks in the MSGBC Basin of NW Africa for long. This work aims to determine the major source rock of the Cretaceous Albian-Turonian in this basin and to establish a hydrocarbon accumulation model, which will provide scientific basis for hydrocarbon exploration in the basin. Rock pyrolysis and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry/isotope ratio mass spectrometry were conducted on the Cretaceous Albian, Cenomanian, and Turonian crude oil and source rock samples at different depths from the wells Z-1 and X-1 near the continental shelf edge of Senegal in the basin. Systematic organic geochemical study and chemometric analysis were performed. The fine evaluation of the source rocks indicates that the quality of the Turonian stage source rocks in the slope zone is mainly excellent, while the quality of the Cenomanian and Albian stage source rocks is good to excellent. All mudstone, sandy mudstone, and limestone in the slope zone are good quality source rocks. The quality of the Albian source rocks in the gentle slope zone varies greatly from medium to excellent. Based on the principal component analysis and cluster analysis, six ethnic groups IA-C and IIA-C were identified, and two types of oil and gas accumulation models were established based on the oil-source rock and oil-oil correlation. The oil-source rock correlation of crude oil and source rocks in the well Z-1 is indicative of a "self generation and self storage" oil and gas accumulation model in the outer depression of the platform edge. The oil-oil correlation and the deconvolution calculation of the alternating least squares method indicate that the well X-1 belongs to a "self generation and self storage" mode in the depression on the edge of the platform. This study innovatively applies the alternating least squares deconvolution algorithm to quantify for the first time the contribution of Albian, Cenomanian, and Turonian source rocks, and clarifies the main source rocks and oil and gas accumulation models in the basin. |
