The purpose of this work was to understand the migration and enrichment characteristics of mineral elements in the Cuifeng tea production area, Fanjingshan, Guizhou Province, thus providing a reference for the protection of geographical indicators of the Cuifeng tea. To this end, 22 samples of bedrock and soil were collected from three typical tea gardens in the study area. The contents of main and trace elements were measured and their geochemical characteristics were analyzed. The results show that in the study area, Se and As are relatively enriched, Na is relatively lacking, Al and K are enriched in the bedrock of Tuanlong and Da Shuixi, and Ca and Mg are enriched in Meituo. The soil is rich in the main and trace elements related to the growth of tea trees. Except As, Cd and Hg in Meituo’s soil, the other heavy metal elements are within the limits of environmental conditions of pollution-free food and the tea production area. The vertical distribution of elements in different sections is L-shaped or anti-L-shaped, which is related to bedrock type, element geochemical properties, soil forming environment and external element input. In the rock-soil system, most of the elements in the Tuanlong and Meituo tea gardens are dominated by deposition and relatively enriched in the soil. Except Ca and Mg, the other elements in the Meituo tea garden move from top to bottom. The enrichment intensity first increases and then decreases, and the relative enrichment degree is the largest in the middle part of soil. Most of the elements in the Dashuixi tea garden have been transported or leached, thus relatively lacking in soil.
